Tata Sky partners with 24x7guru to offer interactive learning on TV
BANGALORE: Tata Sky has partnered with 24X7guru.com, a provider of online diagnostic
and self-assessment tool, to offer interactive learning on television.
This partnership will enable 24x7guru.com to provide content for Tata Sky's ActveTM
Learning, a quiz based educational service covering mathematics, general knowledge
and science for children in the age group of 7-11 years.
Making the announcement, Learnsmart India CEO K.S Muralidhar said, "Television
can be an extremely powerful teaching tool with the potential of enhancing every
aspect of the academic curriculum. We are confident that this new medium which is
hugely popular with children of all ages will motivate the students to use broadcast
technology not just to entertain them but also to complement their efforts to become
scholastically successful."
